While making my grocery list and searching through Pinterest for Cheap recipes to try on my family I ran across an easy and quick taco soup recipe from That Little Spark and thought "That sounds good. But what it needs is some Mexican Cornbread." The first and last time I had Mexican cornbread was over 6 years ago. My friends mom made it and I was in love! With the cornbread not her mom hahaha! So then I started hunting down recipes for it and ran across this crockpot recipe for it from Moms With Crockpots and was instantly sold. "You mean just throw it in and don't touch it? Done!" As much as I love making things by hand and from scratch I equally Love low maintenance meals. The cornbread I just made it as their website called for but the soup I Meade a few changes to. It wasn't spicy enough for me (could have been the kind of taco seasoning we got) but I added some crushed red pepper and more broth than they called for to make it more soupy. Give these a try! I think we've found our family comfort food. So much yum!
